Scuola Grande di San Rocco is 8 minutes from Piazzale Roma. It dates back to 1489, it is located  in sestiere of San Polo. You can see famous paintings by Tintoretto. It was used as the house of the confraternity of San Rocco, an association of wealthy Venetian citizens who helped poor and sick people. The house  was used for their meetings.

Why to visit it:

Tintoretto’s paintings reflect life in Venice in the late 1500s. His work features dramatic gestures and complex poses. You will be really impressed by it.
