Cafè Florian is one of the most popular meeting places in Venice. It was built in 1920 by Floriano Francesconi and it is the oldest cafè in the world. It is placed under the Procuratie Nuove in piazza San Marco. Inside you can find four rooms and many paintings on the walls. It has always been the favourite place for Venitians, Italians and foreigners. It’s not difficult to get to cafè Florian only half one hour on foot or ten minutes by boat. If you like Venice and his history you can’t fail to visit the cafè Florian.
