The ghetto of Venice was built in 1516.
There you can see the synagogues, a Jewish Art Museum and typical shops.
The Jews were forced to live there under the Venetian Republic.
To get there, take calle strada nuova up to “Ponte delle Guglie” turn left, and that’s the beginning of the Ghetto.
Visit it because it’s very interesting! You can buy delicious cakes there at the bakery or eat Kosher food at the restaurant “Hosteria del Ghetto”.
