When you are in Rialto you must not forget to go to the Palazzo dei dieci Savi, a building located in the district of San Polo, overlooking the Canal Grande, disigned by Antonio Abbondi.
The palace has a long facade on the Ruga degli Oresi and a short one on the Canal Grande.
There 4 facades. On the first one there’s a lion called “leone in moeca” which is a small winged lion, symbol of Venice, represented like a crab (moeca in Venetian) .
On the second facade there is the statue of Justice represented with a scale and a sword.
