“SANT’APOLLONIA” is a museum in Venice.
Patriarch Albino Luciani ordered to build it, it was opened to the public in 1977.
You can see the “LAPIDARIO MARCIANO”, a collection of fragments of Roman stones, an ancient collection of silverware, a collection of clothes, a Madonna wearing clothes of Venetian tradition. There are Venetian laces, a collection of illuminated codes and 40 paintings of contemporary art
To arrive to SANT’APOLLONIA (leaving behind the two columns in St. Mark’s square cross the bridge to Riva degli Schiavoni and keep going left.
Visit it because it’s very interesting and full of beautiful paintings.
